Anne C. Avellone was admitted to practice in New York in 1981. She is also admitted to practice in the Federal Court System (Southern and Eastern Districts of New York); and, as a Registered Patent Attorney, is admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
        Ms. Avellone holds a B.S. in Engineering Science with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia; and, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
        While a student, Ms. Avellone was a Law Clerk at the patent firm of Pennie & Edmonds for four years. She then practiced at an Aviation Law firm for a year, prior to forming her private practice, specializing in Intellectual Property.
        Additionally, Ms. Avellone was the Managing Partner of DMG Technology Development, an R&D Limited Partnership handling compliance with formation and tax regulations, investor relations, and patent portfolio management. She was also a founder of Latent Image Development Corporation, a firm providing services in media technology engineering, multimedia production, and software development, where she handled the company's intellectual property as well as contracts. Currently, she is Corporate Counsel to Digital Media Group, Ltd., managing an extensive technology development and patent exploitation effort.
        Ms. Avellone has also been a licensed pilot for 24 years.
