During the last 30 years, David M. Geshwind has been a pioneering, award-winning Computer Animator and Artist; Software Systems Engineering Consultant; Research Scientist at the Computer Graphics Laboratory of the New York Institute of Technology, and at the Center for Advanced Technology in Digital Multimedia, New York University; Interactive Media Producer; Educator and Lecturer; Entrepreneur, Inventor and Patent Agent, registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
        Mr. Geshwind holds a B.S. (1975) and M.Eng. (ABT) in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; he completed a Masters Program at the Institute of Film and Television, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University; and, studied Computer Science in a PhD program at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. Currently, Mr. Geshwind is completing his PhD at Columbia University, studying Cognitive Psychology and Artificial Intelligence. He has also qualified to sit for the Profesional Engineering License Exam.
        For the last 20 years, Mr. Geshwind has been filing and prosecuting patents on his own work. Through DMG Technology Development, an R&D Limited Partnership, and the corporation Digital Media Group, Ltd., Mr. Geshwind has conducted research that has lead to nine technology patents issued in the US (some also issued in Europe, Japan and elsewhere), and another dozen in various stages of the patenting process.
        Recently, Mr. Geshwind founded Three-Dimensional Media Group, Ltd. to license his 2D-to-3D Film Conversion Technology, and other 3D Media Technologies, to the IMAX Corporation and others.
        Since becoming a Registerd Patent Agent, Mr. Geshwind also works to apply his technical skills and experience with the patenting process to obtain patents for others.
